About the Practice:
We are a growing private neuropsychology practice in Bryn Mawr, PA, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children, teens, and young adults with neurodevelopmental, psychological, medical/neurological conditions, and cognitive-related challenges. Our approach emphasizes individualized, evidence-based treatment to support emotional well-being, cognitive functioning, and overall development.
Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist or therapist to provide therapy services for children, adolescents, and young adults facing a range of challenges, including ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, brain injury or illness, and other medical or neurological conditions. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting individual therapy sessions (in-person and via telehealth).
- Utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs.
- Collaborating with families, schools, and other providers as needed.
- Providing executive function coaching and/or cognitive rehabilitation (preferred but not required).
- Maintaining clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Our process includes:
- Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) or Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in Pennsylvania, with a master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working with neurodiverse populations, including individuals with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism, and medical or neurological conditions, as well as co-occurring mood, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, ACT, and DBT.
- Experience with executive function coaching and/or cognitive rehabilitation is preferred.
- Strong commitment to cultural competency and diversity awareness, with the ability to work effectively with clients from various backgrounds.
- Collaborative approach, valuing close coordination with families, schools, and other professionals to optimize clinical care.
- Psychological and neuropsychological assessment services are offered within the practice, and for those interested, this position can include opportunities for assessment work.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth, including participation in training, consultation, or supervision.
- Comfortable providing both in-person and telehealth therapy.
